New York City is often described as a cultural melting pot but when it comes to Culinary, Shopping, Fashion and Art+Design the city is a historical mosaic. Stunning gothic architecture co-exists with modern skyscrapers, while neo-dive bars neighbor slick art galleries. For the design aficionado, Manhattan is a visual feast full of opportunities to rouse the senses. While the city is vast, i have narrowed down a few of my favorite real gems spots to eat, see and get inspired! As any New Yorker will tell you, there's no way to see all the highlights of this vast, complex city in just one visit. That's part of the thrill of visiting the Big Apple—there's always something new to discover. But all of the tantalizing options can also make it hard to plan a trip. Instead of trying to see, eat, drink, and do it all, I have highlighted the musts—from iconic landmarks to local favorites—at the top of my list.
